We start fishing for Halibut on May 11 th , and the season can run into September, depending on the quota caught. All quotas are set by National Marine Fisheries Service and limits can change every year. Please call to book early to ensure you spot on our legendary 6-pack charter, guided by Master 100-ton captain Curt Shoults. Captain Curt has over 45 years of experience fishing the Oregon Coast, and is the most sought after fishing guide around. We only take 6 customers per trip, and the size of Halibut can range from 15 to 90 pounds but the average size is around 35-40 pounds.

Catching this powerful flatfish is an amazing amount of fun. Whether it’s out of Charleston or Newport these Halibut cannot hide from Captain Curt.

Travel distance will vary depending on location and ocean conditions. Fishing depths also vary.

Fish processing is included in the price of the charter.
